Festival Season
It's spring, and that means that people start to flock outside to listen to music. With this comes the opportunity to display your personal style while trying to remain comfortable in the elements.
While the younger set have made music festivals like Bonnaroo and Coachella an outdoor fashion week, if you are of a certain age and don't regularly go to concerts, putting together an outfit can be intimidating. No one wants to be the old lady that sticks out at a concert because you look too overdressed, or have too done "work" hair.
So to give you some inspiration, I've put together a few looks for you that I hope work for various ages, styles, and body shapes in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. These are all intended to work for outdoor concerts, but would be good inside as well. If you really like the item, head over to my Polyvore page "livinggleefully" and you can click on the individual pieces and it will take you to the website for purchase. Ok, let's get grooving!
Do you have any concert "must have" items besides an outfit that makes you feel amazing?
I would recommend some of these items go with you:
portable charger
bug spray
sunscreen
allergy medicine
tums
advil
band-aids
wipes
That list really makes me sound ancient, doesn't it? But, I've never been sorry to have any of those things with me, and I have a better time if I'm comfortable!
Have a great time listening to your favorite bands this summer, ya'll! Hope to see you out there!
